The skirt is knitted top-down in the round, with a series of vertical lace panels. To finish the bottom of the skirt, bubbles and lace details are created, following chart directions. Lastly, 2 I-cord ribbons are knitted, and inserted into the waist hem, to give the skirt it voluminous shape.
