This Bonnet starts with the most fun part - the lace. It is knitted back and forth, with icord on one side. When the lace is finished, you pick up stitches along the longest edge, and the rest is knitted in stockinette stitch. The icord is knitted at the same time as the sts are pick up along the edge.
