Crescent Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. Firstly, the yoke is worked back and forth with short rows and increases to the shoulders, and then in the round with increases to the shoulders. The finished yoke is split into the front piece and the back piece, which are then worked separately back and forth. The front piece and back piece are joined together, and the body is worked in the round with decreases on each side. Stitches are picked up and knitted for the sleeves, which are worked in the round with decreases. In the end, stitches are picked up and knitted for the neckline, which is worked in stockinette stitch.
