The Ivy Scarf is worked in a delicate lace pattern with double knitted edges. It is first cast on using the tubular cast on method to create a sharp edge. Next, the body is worked following the pattern charts with increases and decreases in lace pattern. Finally, the edges are decreased and the scarf is bound off. The Ivy Scarf requires the following techniques: tubular cast on, knit and purl stitches, yarn over, decrease (k2tog, ssk, sssk, CDD), double knitting and tubular bind off.
