Our yarn🫶🏻

The Knit&Note team is a group of dedicated knitters who, in the pursuit of the perfect yarn, decided to create their own. All of our yarn qualities share the same color chart, making it easy for you to combine different types seamlessly.

We are committed to sustainable production and use only natural fibers. By focusing on good working conditions and fair trade, we aim to provide you with yarn that inspires creativity and supports ethical production.

You can buy our yarn in the Knit&Note app, where you’ll also find a wide variety of knitting accessories, including handmade stitch markers, wool combs, measuring tapes, and much more.

Highland Wool

Knit&Note Highland Wool is a soft and delightful wool yarn, suitable for both children and adults.

The yarn has a slightly loose spin, resulting in an even and beautiful result. It can be used alone for knitting lightweight sweaters or jackets, or held together with Knit&Note Cashmere Mohair for a more luxurious look.

The wool comes from sheep that live a good life in the high mountains of Peru. The fiber is hand-sorted, and only the finest fibers are used in the yarn.

A skein weighs 50 grams, has a length of 137 meters, and a gauge of 22 stitches per 10 cm.

Merino

Knit&Note Merino is a very soft yarn made from pure merino wool. The yarn is itch-free, making it ideal for both babies and children, whether knitted with a single or double strand. For adults, it pairs perfectly with Knit&Note Cashmere Mohair to create a luxurious and fluffy look.

The wool comes from sheep that live a good life in Argentina. The fiber is hand-sorted, and only the finest fibers are used in the yarn.

A skein weighs 50 grams, has a length of 230 meters, and a gauge of 28 stitches per 10 cm.

Cashmere Mohair

Knit&Note Cashmere Mohair is an exceptionally soft and exclusive yarn. The cashmere fiber makes the yarn unique and gives you the ultimate feeling of luxury.

It works amazingly held together with Knit&Note Merino or Highland Wool. It can also be used alone, ideally in double or triple strands for a light and fluffy garment.

The mohair fiber is from South Africa, whereas the cashmere and silk come from China. The fiber is transported to Peru, where the entire process from fiber to finished skein takes place in the same location.

A skein weighs 25 grams, has a length of 212 meters, and a gauge of 28 stitches per 10 cm.

The yarn is GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified, as well as mulesing-free. It is not superwash treated.
