Exciting news from the Knit&Note team – we are headed to New York City for Vogue Knitting Live from the 9th of February to the 11th of February! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, and we are thrilled to share the app with the avid American knitters at the event. We’re delighted to meet new people, learn about the latest trends, and share our app with a new market. We will have a stand at the event where we’ll meet new faces who we are excited to share our concept with. Attendees will also have the chance to win many fun prizes, including yarn all the way from Norway! We are eager to further connect with the knitting community and share our passion for the craft.

New York City is home to many talented and creative knitters who continue to inspire others through their excellent designs and techniques. These NYC-based knitters have inspired us through their unique approaches to knitwear design, and we continue to follow their work with great interest. Their passion for knitting and their dedication to their craft is truly inspiring and continues to push us to try new things and grow as knitters. Here are some of our favourite NYC-based knitters that we believe are worth mentioning:
Olga is a designer and creator from NYC who goes by the name @gotham.knits on instagram (very fitting, we love). We love her work and she also makes great TikTok videos which make us laugh. Olga is a passionate knitter who has created a big community for fellow fiber enthusiasts. Just look at her gorgeous work!
Amelia Scott, also known as ameliaadesigns, is a talented and creative knitter and designer. She creates beautiful, wearable garments and accessories that are both functional and stylish. She learned to knit in 2021 and has since created a brand featuring amazing knitted pieces. We’re obsessed with her fun and colourful clothing.
Emma, also known as @thenewyorkyear is a NYC based knitwear designer. As for now, she has mainly sock designs, which we love! Her patterns are both intricate and unique. Check her out!
