Fix crochet mistakes
Almost everything in crochet can be undone and redone. Here is how.
Why Is My Crochet Curling? Causes and Easy Fixes
Crochet usually curls because of tight tension, a foundation chain tighter than the stitches, or a hook too small for the yarn. Flat circles cup when they have too few increases and ruffle with too many. Chain with a larger hook, count each round, and block to smooth a mild curl.
Why Are My Crochet Edges Uneven? How to Keep Rows Straight
Uneven crochet edges come from gaining or losing stitches at the ends of rows. Missing the last stitch makes rows narrower, and working into a turning chain that does not count makes them wider. Count each row, put markers in the first and last stitch, and frog back to the last correct row.
