Charlotte Jacket is knitted top down, starting with the back yoke which is worked back and forth (while shaping with short rows). After that sts are picked up across the shoulders to form the front yoke, then the rest of the body is worked back and forth till it’s finished. Button bands are then knitted, followed by neckline edging and icord body edging. Sts for the collar are then picked up, the collar is worked in double knitting and finished with an icord edging. Sts for sleeves are then picked up, and worked in the round, and finally sts for faux pocket flaps are picked up and flaps are worked in double knitting.
