The sweater is worked top down, with shaping for the neck opening on both front and back, which are again worked separately to create opening for arms. The body is then joined and worked in the round before finishing with a twisted rib. Sleeves are worked by picking up and knitting straight until decreases are made for a fitted twisted rib cuff.
