Gemma Polo is a drop shoulder top down with an adorable collar and button bands worked in double knitting. First, the back yoke is worked flat with increases to make a shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up from the back yoke for the shoulders. After this, the button bands and the button holes are worked simultaneously. When the button bands have been made, the two shoulders and the back yoked are joined in the round. The body is finished with a folded hem the sleeves are worked in semi balloon silhouette.
