Milly Jacket is a versatile jacket worked from the top down, ideal for cold days. The jacket is worked in stockinette
stitch with small puff sleeves. Increases are worked at the shoulder sts on the RS to shape the neckline and shoulders evenly. You then increase for the puff sleeves, followed by raglan increases on sleeves and body, giving the garment a comfortable and flexible fit. Finally, an i-cord belt is worked as a small extra detail. I recommend trying on the jacket as you knit. Also consider how your swatch changed before and after washing. This will help you create the perfect garment for your body. The pattern is long. Some prefer reading the entire pattern first. Feel free to do so, but my best recommendation is to read this pattern paragraph by paragraph, sentence by sentence, and before you know it, you’re done.
