The sweater is worked top down with circular increases in the rounds between the colourwork. It is therefore quite beginner friendly. You never need to think about increases and colourwork on the same round. You also never work more than two colours at the same time. You work some short rows straight after the rib stitch neckband, to get a good fit. The sleeves are worked with some decrease rows towards the cuffs, and the body is knitted straight down. The sweater length can be extended with the extra chart in the pattern if desired.
