This past weekend members of the Knit&Note team attended Vogue Knitting Live for the second year in a row. It was a busy weekend, and we really enjoyed mingling with makers from New York, the US and all over the world.
On Thursday evening we hosted a pre-VKL event. The Norwegian Consul General was kind enough to host the event at her gorgeous residence. We are so appreciative of all the support that the consulate gave us during our time in New York. We invited many members of the New York maker community to join us for the event. It was a great way to break the ice with some of the New York crafting crowd, show off our app, and get everyone excited about our latest feature – our pattern streaming service.
Vogue Knitting Live officially started on Friday. The marketplace was buzzing, and it was fantastic to chat with so many people at our booth while also getting a chance to peek at all the amazing vendors.
On Saturday, the marketplace was open all day. We got to speak to so many excited crafters about Knit&Note. Many of them also got a chance to get lucky and win a prize by spinning our prize wheel. There were notions, tote bags and even yarn goodie bags to be won.
Sunday was the final day of VKL. It was a bit quieter, but that was perfect for having deeper conversations about Knit&Note. We got to discuss what people love about the app and what they’re looking forward to. These discussions are so helpful for us, giving us insights into how to make the app even better.
Heading to New York for VKL again was an absolute joy. This event is all about connecting with the community, sharing our love for crafting, and getting inspired by everyone’s stories and ideas. Events like these motivate us to keep improving and innovating. Here’s to the amazing people we met, the stories we shared, and all the fun moments at VKL 2024. Thanks to everyone who joined in, shared their thoughts, and got excited with us. We’re already looking forward to next time!
